The University of Health Sciences of Lao PDR (UHS-Laos) is one of five universities in Lao PDR, established as this name in 2007. The UHS-Laos is a part of a larger Complex Hospitalo-Instituto-Projecto-University (CHIPU) gathering the referent national and regional hospitals where the students follow their practice training. UHS-Laos does not have University hospital but has five affiliated hospitals. The UHS-Laos is a partner of the CAFELA project, together with 4 hospitals in Vientiane capital: Mahosot, Setthathirath, Mittaphab, Mother & Child hospital.
