The CCL is a French non-profit organization (law 1901) recognized as being of public interest.
The CCL has been working in Laos since 1980 through projects aimed at ensuring food security and self-sufficiency for local communities, improving hygiene, and installing water sanitation systems to protect the health of villagers, particularly women and children.
The CCL is a small, fully independent organization with strong recognition in the field of international development.
Your membership helps fund our initiatives that benefit the poorest communities in Laos.
Your membership is valid from January 1 to December 31 of the year in which the bank transfer is made or the cheque is signed.
Memberships paid between January 1 and October 24 are valid until December 31 of the current year.
Memberships paid between October 1 and December 31 are valid for the following year.
Your membership entitles you to a tax deduction:
- Individuals: 66% of your membership fee to the CCL is deductible from your income tax, up to 20% of your taxable income.
- Companies: 60% of your donation to the CCL can be deducted from corporate tax, up to €20,000 or 0.5% of the company’s annual pre-tax turnover, whichever is higher. If the donation exceeds this limit, the surplus can be carried forward over the next five fiscal years.

If you become a member via online payment, your tax receipt will be sent automatically.
If you pay your membership fee by cheque, your tax receipt will be sent at the beginning of the following year.
The information you provide is necessary for the CCL (data controller) to process your membership. It is also required to send your tax receipt, inform you about events, and provide updates about the CCL activities. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent and will only be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes.
